SOME CHANGES DONE IN THE NEW VERSION

* Improved setup. If config.php aint writeable a textbox with the config-code will be presented.
* Fixed date in add_matches.php so it supports games before year 2006.
* Added stripslashes to news function.
* Added stripslashes to comments function.
* Added stripslashes to poll function.
* The script checks if there’s any new version of clanweb when you login.
* Changed name of login cookie to cw_session. cw_user now contains the username
* Users and member management are now separated.
* RSS feed
* All javascript is moved to a extern file.
* Added possibility to change the description and keywords
* Edit file, sponsor and news categories
* The contact form is now active
* Removed the alternative to create polls with multiple voting.
* Language error in poll
* Yes/No boxes only display one yes and one no option
* License.htm are now displayed during install

Suggestions:

- In release_notes.txt it should say “4. RUN ADMINCP/INSTALL.PHP AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS” instead of “4. RUN INSTALL.PHP AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS”
- Should add e-mail of admin during installation.
- Should make it so that you don’t need to put config on root, all files read config.php from admincp config.
- Add an option to be able to add/remove new members fields. Example: I can add Xfire field myself, and remove anything I don’t need my members to have.
- Add an option to be able to add/remove Positions.
- Add an option to be able to add/remove Teams.
- When you create a news it should automatically use the username of your account as the author.
- Allow to prevent the news from being truncated and show the “by author” text even if the news is truncated.
- Should make it so that if you’re logged into the your account when you are going to make a comment have it so that you’re making the comment from your account and not letting you put an author.
- Have a standard input box like PunBB when entering a message automatically making you spaces and stuff?
- Add an option to put more options into a poll.
- Remove added date from roster.
- Make it so that in a members profile it shows as Male or Female and not just “m” or “f”.
- Make it so that instead of “us” it shows as “United States”
- Allow to change date’s format to like mm-dd-yyyy
- On pages instead of saying “Your Clan’s Roster”, “Your Clan’s Files” make it to be “Clanname Roster”, “Clanname Files”.
- Make index be called home instead of front page (sounds like frontpage html editor =p)
- Make it so that in matches you enter the date manually instead of with dropbox because it says that the latest match I can make is on 2006 and we’re on 2007.
